Send the result to someone without an account
Once the analysis is done, the next thing you almost always do is show it to your boss. The Share view-only button on the process detail page mints a public URL: whoever opens it sees all four metrics, both diagrams and the step table — no sign-in, nothing to install.
The link is a snapshot, not a window
The shared page keeps the figures from the moment you pressed the button. If you edit the process afterwards, the page in the recipient's hands does not change.
If the link followed the working copy, every small adjustment you made would silently rewrite the document your boss is already holding — and they would read the wrong number in the middle of a meeting. An immutable snapshot is the only way the sentence “these figures were fixed at 14:30 on 04/09” can be true. The snapshot time is printed at the top of the shared page.
To let the recipient see new figures, revoke the old link and create a new one.
What goes public
Anyone with the URL can read it, so know in advance what the page says:
- Included: process name, description, every step name, lane and pool names (naming a lane “Accounting — Lan” puts that on the page), the performer entered on each step, times, costs, and the names of any linked sub-processes.
- Not included: your account email, per-step internal notes, version history, and every other process in your library.
Limits and revoking
- Each process keeps at most 10 live links at a time.
- Revoke kills a link immediately; anyone holding the old URL gets a 404.
- Deleting the source process kills all of its links — no orphaned pages are left behind.
- The Opened column counts real people opening the page. Link checkers and preview bots are not counted.
No password, no session: the entire protection is the random string in the URL. The page is marked so search engines will not index it and it never enters the sitemap, but anyone you forward the link to can open it. Once you have sent it, do not post it anywhere public, and revoke it when you no longer need it.
